One of the main components of occupational health and safety practices is the implementation of preventive measures. In particular, data on occupational accidents occurring in educational institutions should be systematically analysed and statistical reports should be prepared; in line with these reports, the root causes of accidents should be identified and strategies should be developed to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents. In this context, it is of great importance for school administrations to hold regular evaluation meetings and discuss the measures to be taken. It is also imperative that school employees undergo a comprehensive training process on occupational health and safety. Personnel should be made aware of the potential hazards and risks that may be encountered in educational institutions and risk-reducing practices should be implemented accordingly. Thanks to these preventive activities, the possibility of occupational accidents is significantly reduced and a safer working environment is provided.
