Özet

One of the important issues that raise a nation to the level of civilization is culture and art activities. Among the fine arts that interact and communicate with each other, especially poetry and music have been seen as a whole. The poet/writer, who strives to search for beauty and truth, makes use of the rhythm, harmony, technique and form of music. Many poets have shown special interest in music, which is also one of the sources of classical Turkish poetry. 18. he lived in the century; in the poems of İbrahim Tırsî, one of the poets who adopted the style of mahallileşme and hezel; there are many musical terms such as musical instruments, performers, idioms, makam and usul examples. These terms used by the poet reflect his literary personality, the understanding of poetry of the century he lived in, cultural landscapes, some musicians of the period and mystical views. Therefore, to examine the terms of music in Tırsî's poems; it is important in terms of determining the poetry understanding of the period and the literary personality of the poet. For this purpose, the article comments on the relationship between poetry and music based on the meaning of musical terms in poetry; socio-cultural elements, the poet's literary identity, and local views of the century in which he lived were tried to be determined. This study also aims to contribute to the literature on the relationship between classical Turkish poetry and music.
